Workshop Background & Objectives
For growth of any kind of business, various challenges are bound to come. Sometime the challenges are simple to solve and most of the time it is difficult. The success lies on how the difficulties are overcome and how soon it is done. If the difficulties are viewed as 'Problems' and a systematic approach towards 'Problem Solving' is adapted, it has been observed that most of the cases road blocks to growth and continuous improvement are smoothly and timely removed resulting into value addition in the activity chains. In common cases the operational as well as strategic challenges are attended based on the past experience with a view to achieving a quick solution. But in today's circumstances where survival efforts followed by growth tasks pass through acid test of 24X7 competition in 360 degree angle; amount of time spent & degree of effective efforts applied to achieve high quality of problem solving process are the key skill factors.
Hence it is imperative that the employees in an organization who face operational and strategic challenges day in and day out should refresh themselves with the techniques of a systematic approach towards 'problem solving'. Most of the techniques are nothing but application of simple common sense followed by innovative instincts.
